It seemed that children were having two friends from the police department and I think that would definitely help children to gain trust and find hope in the police and their department. Canada's Wonderland

Today I am grateful for and excited to talk about and share my first-hand experience regarding Canada's Wonderland. Today I and my family visited Canada's wonderland, although we have been regularly visiting this awesome and exciting place since 2019. Canada's Wonderland is awfully wonderous and jaw-dropping thrilled. Canada's Wonderland is a 134-hectare thematic place situated in Vaughan, Ontario, a neighbourhood approximately 25 kilometres north of Downtown Toronto. Canada's Wonderland was opened in 1981 as the first main theme park in Canada. Last year, Canada's wonderland was closed for the public due to COVID 19, however, it is opened now with COVID 19 protocols and measures. Today I would like to highlight its impact on thoughts, emotions, feelings and physical health, for instance:

  • Canada's Wonderland offers a variety of themes, recreational activities and entertains all age groups regardless of gender and socioeconomic status. As far as tickets or pass is concerned, you may buy a season pass and day pass with parking. There are many seasons pass available that entertain your personal need and taste
  • Personally, my favourite and the ideal spot is the water park throughout the summertime.  A water park or splash works propose a variety of slides, sprinklers from 12 to 6 pm. You find a variety of dine-in areas, separate slides for children, youth and adults. Lifeguards are onsite for directing and helping to load in every slide. There is a huge swimming pool with artificially created waves and sound. Splash works really soothing, comforting and relaxing to the nerves, mental health and wellbeing
  • Canada's wonderland proposes a variety of roller coasters as per your choice. The most important aspect is that every ride and roller coaster offers precaution board or information such as if you are pregnant, or having heart problems, neck or back discomfort, recent surgery or any other mental or physical concern, think before the ride
  • Separate rides, coasters, and spins for young children with all precautions and safety
  • Canada's Wonderland offers a variety of shows on a daily basis such as water shows, dog shows or theatre. These shows are my favourite and I always try to watch them

  • This theme and reactional wonderland full of excitement, thrill and upon arrival provoke enthusiasm and energy. I don't recommend a day pass for unfolding the excitement. One time visit is not enough to explore all rides and splash works, you need some time or visits to explore every layer of Canada's wonderland
  • A variety of facilities on-site, such as washroom, drinking water refill, change rooms, restrooms, first aid facility, lost and found, lost children facility and support as needed

  • This is my journey with Canada's wonderland. Find some time to explore this recreational and fun theme park is the suggestion of the day

Flemo Farmers Market - Grand opening

Today I am grateful for and appreciate the magnificent occasion of the grand opening of Flemo Farmer Market. This market is being functional and located at 150 Grenoble Drive, Toronto. The grand opening was held in the morning at 10 am.  There were MMPs, representatives of FHC, FCSS, TNO and community ambassadors at the time of the opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony. Flemo Farm is a half-acre urban farm in Felmingdon Park. Flemo Farm is a collaboration between the Flemingdon Health Centre and Foodshare Toronto with support from the city of Toronto and primary funding from the Weston Family Foundation. Flemo Farmers Market has been held every Saturday, July 24 - October 30, 2021. I recognize and comprehend the significance of the grand opening of the Flemo Farmers Market for a variety of reasons, for instance:

  • The grand opening of the Felmo Farmers Market in the community of Flemingdon is highly appreciated and admired by the residence of Flemingdon. I visited Flemo Farmers Market around 11 am, I missed the opening ceremony for some reason. Upon arrival at the entrance, we were greeted by the representative and received apples and flowers as a token of appreciation. The welcome was highly respectful and courteous for every visitor
  • The Flemo Farmers Market is a great source of networking. WHY? Today I met some notable and well-known personalities in person and had a great discussion, such as:
    • Neil Stephens (manager - Flemingdon Health Centre) mentioned the grand opening of the Flemo Farmers Market is just like a wedding ceremony. He explained to me and my children about the struggles and works for the final product just like wedding planning. Neil described the untiring endeavours and efforts of all teamwork and the final grand opening of the Flemo Farmers Market. He mentioned and illustrated Flemo Farmers Market just like an iceberg - you can see only 10% (Felmo Farmers Market) and 90 % (continued efforts for 5 years). That was an eminent learning experience for me and my young folks. Neil taught me and my children a great lesson of patience and persistence
    • Carl Leslie has the main lead as a farmer at this Flemo Farm. Carl just joined us from the tour of Flemo Farm. He offers and facilitates a guided tour of Flemo Farm every Saturday morning. He explained to me and the children about his agriculture and farming experiences, skills, procedures and specific techniques. I was thinking at that moment, how fortunate and blissful is the Flemingdon community to have gems and pearls like Carl  and Neil for their support and assistance for the prosperity and upgrading of the community
    • Javad Mozafari is a Flemo Farm community engagement coordinator. Jawad explained the historical background of this Flemingdon area and the significance of the Flemo Farmers Market. Jawad mentioned that 100 years back there were all farms and the land was used for agriculture and farming. That was new information for me and my children. Jawad explained the difference between the grand opening of Flemo Farmers Market today and the commencement of the Market since July 24, 2021, from every Saturday
  • Vegetables and fruits are organic and remarkably fresh and credit goes to Carl. As far as cost is concerned, as compared to organic food from other markets, it is affordable and has elevated influence and support for the Flemingdon community at this time of the COVID 19. I acknowledge and comprehend this effort and support
  • I discovered and admired that Flemo Farmers Market is environment friendly even it was mentioned in their previous flyer that brings your bags. Fruits and vegetables were delivered and dispensed in brown paper bags
  • Flemo Farmers Market is a transcendent way to meet with the community representatives, ambassadors and support workers. I noticed and felt the sense of belongingness, networking and connectedness at this time of the COVID 19. I am proud to be a part of the Flemingdon community

  • The Flemo Farmers market proffers a sense of attainment and satisfaction. I am hooked with the quality, freshness, and locally grown organic food and I do purchase weekly groceries of fruits and vegetables from Flemo Farmers Market. I do support and acknowledge the volunteers and their untiring efforts (they are the genuine heroes of the community)
  • Today Flemingdon Health Centre proposed a stall at Flemo Farmers Market for families to play a game and earn a prize. I appreciate that notion, actually, I and my children learned about diabetes and a variety of myths related to diabetes while playing the game called "Diabetes truth or myth"

  • Flemo Farmer's Market is an excellent way to educate children on a variety of skills and techniques, such as children may learn how to follow COVID 19 protocols, meet n greet, how networking works, helping their parents while choosing their own fruits and vegetables, how to select and buy groceries, how to calculate and pay money. Personally, I do take my children to shop and teach them a variety of skills onsite. Today they learned great lessons from Neil, Carl and Jawad. It was a great learning and educational opportunity for youth and children
  • I observed and noticed COVID 19 etiquettes were being practiced and monitored under the supervision of Mussarat Ejaz (Community Health Worker - FHC), such as wearing a mask, social distancing and hand sanitizer facility was offered onsite
  • This is my incredible journey of Flemo Farmers Market and its grand opening. Do visit and take your children to the Flemo Farmers Market and Flemo Farm tour for great learning opportunities and for locally grown organic food is the thought of the day

  • Friends are the best way to walk with, talking, learning, sharing, shopping, eating and even watching movies. Unfortunately, whenever I plan to watch a movie with friends at home, we always talk NOT watch. It seems that we have an endless conversation (that's true friendship)
  • I noticed and regarded in their presence, everyone giggles n chuckle, laughs or smiles and is present with the moment. Friends are mindful and friendship is mindfulness
  • Friendship is another name of sharing and caring or caring and sharing of your feelings and emotions. I always enjoy friends and their presence in my life. • In the above picture, I was greeting my friends by foot after lockdown. I captured that moment. This picture is really valuable and worthwhile for me
  • If you do not find a true friend, be the one that's my philosophy. Every human being is with positive or negative traits, so try to focus on a positive side, not a negative one. This way you may find a true friend
