Today I am grateful for and acknowledge the value of a day out. Today I had a dentist appointment at 8:45 am at the University of Toronto - Dentistry department. I was done at 11 am then I went downtown to enjoy my day out. I noticed and discovered that day out is really soothing, calming and positively linked with wellbeing. I walked around in Eaton centre, UoT and Dundas square. Day out helped me to detach myself from children (summer camp), household chores, professional activities and even from social media and gadgets. Day out was spent observing a variety of new arrivals, window shopping, eating out and way back home with lots of memories and thoughts. Day out is surprisingly important in life to restore, recharge and renew depleted energy. I appreciate and recognize day out's value for a variety of reasons and it might be spent in a variety of ways, such as:
- Visit a museum, art gallery, exhibition or aquarium to soothes emotions and feelings
- Parks or gardens can be a choice
- Day out can be spent with friends enjoy coffee or tea
- Cinema, theatre, concert or opera
- Shopping and eating out
- Visit the Farmer market
- Long drive
- Outdoor recreational activities
- Riding a bike or roller skating
- Enjoy the beach, lakeshore, lakefront, Seaview or seashore
- Kayaking, boating, canoeing, cruising or rafting
- Fishing is also a day out activity
- BBQ or outdoor get together
- Try to find a day for a day out and experience its benefits is the thought of the day
