BetterHomesTO & Home Energy Loan Program

Today I am grateful for attending and learning better homesTO and Home Energy Loan Program, hosted by Bathurst - Finch Seniors Society (BASS) and Toronto Environmental Alliance (TEA). Today's webinar was facilitated by Ariana Foyle a project lead, Environment and energy division, city of Toronto. I appreciate and recognize its significance for a variety of reasons, for instance:

  • Today's webinar was over the zoom, highly convenient to join. No need to formally dress up, drive or take TTC. This helped to control the spread of the novel coronavirus. You just needed to monitor the internet connectivity for the flow of the webinar
  • BetterHomesTO & Home Energy webinar was free of cost for all attendees and also offered a small token of appreciation such as an e-gift card for Food Share, hand sanitizer, hand wipes and compost bin. It was great to support all attendees at this time of the COVID 19 pandemic
  • Today I learned about the project and its implications and further broaden the concept and clarified a variety of ideas. The taken notions and teachings are following:
