What's in your cup?

Today I am grateful for being aware of the significance of the "What's in your cup" doctrine or notion. What's in your cup ideology deals with a variety of concepts such as if you have water, you can only offer water to yourself and others. Likewise, whatever you have in your cup, you can offer that to anyone including you. I appreciate and recognize the importance of the "what's in your cup" notion for a variety of reasons, for instance:

  • What's in your cup? deals with the assumption, if you have juice, smoothie, milk or any fluid, you may offer that to yourself and others. Sometimes the cup is empty and you have nothing to offer
  • What's in your cup? changes situation to situation and person to person. It also depends on your physical and mental health. For instance, I met with the boss in a different mode than with the friends so the cup filled with the distinct stuff every time
  • Likewise "What's in your cup" notion deals with what kind of emotions, thoughts and feelings you are with and you can only offer and deal with that emotions, thoughts and feelings that's in your cup
  • Whenever a critical situation appears or happens, a person can offer only the stuff that is in his/her cup. While understanding and analyzing someone's with their gestures, behaviour and state of mind and to know what's in the cup at that moment
  • If you are aware of what's in your cup notion and dealing with some issues such as relationship difficulties, mood problems or anxiety. You can easily refill your cup with a variety of strategies such as deep breathing, positive self-affirmations, yoga, meditation, journaling and exercise
  • You may off and on check what's in your cup? such as journaling, reflection and realization are the strategies that help to know about what's in your cup?
  • Being aware of the significance of what's in your cup? is the real blessing and I am thankful for the awareness. Sometimes people do not aware of what's in their cup and what are they offering to others? Awareness itself is a blessing

Lunch Box

Today I am grateful for the importance of the lunch box and its impact on overall physical and emotional health. The content of the lunch box is significantly linked with physical and mental well-being. The lunch box plays a vital role in a student and a professional life. I appreciate and recognize its significance for a variety of reasons, for instance:

  • Since childhood, a lunch box is a part of life and has a distinct meaning for everyone. I personally used to take money to school and bought from the canteen but nowadays lunch boxes are the basic necessity. Here in Canada, lunch box from home is the tradition as Sk, Jk and junior high school do not have a canteen option
  • A homemade lunch box with fresh and delicious food is the prime target for every parent and caregiver. While preparing a lunch box, a parent or a caregiver keep in mind the healthy choices and preferences of their beloved ones
  • The lunch box is a real treasure for children at lunch break while they are hungry and exhausted. They really need something to help them to renew, recharge and restore their depleted energy. Personally, I do add fresh and seasonal fruits and vegetables along with the main course such as pulao or biryani or pasta or noodles or sandwiches or burgers or Behari paratha roll. Sometimes I do add a boiled egg
  • If I am preparing my own lunch box, I do add fresh and seasonal vegetables (salad a must item) fruits and a boiled egg or chicken. I don't carry paratha, chapati, rice, sandwiches or burgers as my work place incorporate all day sitting arrangements
  • Sometimes I do write a small note to my children for acknowledging their presence, love and support in my life and keep it in their lunch boxes. When they find it while having their lunch, it gives them a sense of belongingness and connectedness with their mom
  • A lunch box is always prepared and served with love, affection and with intense feelings and a child can surely sense that emotion while eating that lunch. A lunch box is an unseen bond and a strong connection between a child and a parent or caregiver
  • Stanely ka Dabba is an Indian movie that depicted, illustrated and explained the significance of a lunch box in a child's life. A must-watch movie with your child is highly recommended by my side. A child will learn that many children are struggling for having a lunch box, it gives them a sense of gratitude
  • This is my journey with the lunch box, what is your connection with the lunch box? is the thought of the day

It was enough food and supplies for everyone
  • The food was really aromatic,  remarkably delicious and tasty. This community potluck truly representing community and their favourite meals. I tried and tested every single dish and believe me it was a strong punch and kick of the flavour to the palate and delight for taste buds. I truly enjoyed the community potluck and its festivities
  • There were a variety of community representatives, Police and MPs to meet the community. I spotted and met in person with Nawal Ateeq from FCSS, Rob Oliphant MP, Shakhlo, Thorncliffe Park Autism Support Network (TPSAN) representatives, Flemingdon - Thorncliffe communities and a variety of community ambassadors and representatives
  • Viktor Sarudi and Farhan Ali were from the police department, joined the community potluck. They answered every question, highly engaging, likable and friendly with the children. I noticed that their behaviour was welcoming and respectful with a variety of activities such as having photographs with children, police car voyages and tours for every child. It seemed that children were having two friends from the police department and I think that would definitely help children to gain trust and find hope in the police and their department. Viktor Sarudi and Farhan Ali spent quality time with children and today their contribution to the community potluck was beyond explanation. Both of them truly representing and portraying the police department
  • A variety of games were played by children of all ages and mothers. While performing and engaging with games, everyone was excited, thrilled and delighted to win the first position. Tough competition for some. I sensed the enthusiasm, excitement and engagement while playing games. Children were delighted and happy with the balloons, clown and with gigantic bubbles
  • Enthusiasm, energy and passion for community potluck were considerably evident and manifested by the excitement while sharing meals, playing games, meeting n greeting each other
  • I discovered and noticed the strong ties and bonds in the community potluck. There was a giggle n chuckle, happiness, joy and pleasure. Everyone  enjoyed and valued every moment spent there
  • Caring and sharing attitude was obvious. I personally enjoyed and be present with the moment. Indeed, this community potluck was connecting to the well-being of the community. I do encourage and promote these community potlucks as it is positively affecting mental health and wellbeing at this time of the COVID 19 pandemic
  • Everyone was in healthy and positive thoughts, feelings, emotions and moods. Great feelings for being connecting with the communities and proud to be Canadian. Although it was a bit sunny and sweaty, however, the gathering was comforting, tranquillizing and relaxing in nature. Since the pandemic, it was my first community potluck and I discovered the balance and harmony in my mind, body and soul
  • This is my journey with the community potluck and today I appreciate being part of this gathering. The COVID 19 protocols were being practiced such as wearing a mask, hand sanitization facility on-site and somehow social distancing was evident

Canada's Wonderland

Today I am grateful for and excited to talk about and share my first-hand experience regarding Canada's Wonderland. Today I and my family visited Canada's wonderland, although we have been regularly visiting this awesome and exciting place since 2019. Canada's Wonderland is awfully wonderous and jaw-dropping thrilled. Canada's Wonderland is a 134-hectare thematic place situated in Vaughan, Ontario, a neighbourhood approximately 25 kilometres north of Downtown Toronto. Canada's Wonderland was opened in 1981 as the first main theme park in Canada. Last year, Canada's wonderland was closed for the public due to COVID 19, however, it is opened now with COVID 19 protocols and measures. Today I would like to highlight its impact on thoughts, emotions, feelings and physical health, for instance:

  • Canada's Wonderland offers a variety of themes, recreational activities and entertains all age groups regardless of gender and socioeconomic status. As far as tickets or pass is concerned, you may buy a season pass and day pass with parking. There are many seasons pass available that entertain your personal need and taste
  • Personally, my favourite and the ideal spot is the water park throughout the summertime.  A water park or splash works propose a variety of slides, sprinklers from 12 to 6 pm. You find a variety of dine-in areas, separate slides for children, youth and adults. Lifeguards are onsite for directing and helping to load in every slide. There is a huge swimming pool with artificially created waves and sound. Splash works really soothing, comforting and relaxing to the nerves, mental health and wellbeing
  • Canada's wonderland proposes a variety of roller coasters as per your choice. The most important aspect is that every ride and roller coaster offers precaution board or information such as if you are pregnant, or having heart problems, neck or back discomfort, recent surgery or any other mental or physical concern, think before the ride
  • Separate rides, coasters, and spins for young children with all precautions and safety
  • Canada's Wonderland offers a variety of shows on a daily basis such as water shows, dog shows or theatre. These shows are my favourite and I always try to watch them

  • This theme and reactional wonderland full of excitement, thrill and upon arrival provoke enthusiasm and energy. I don't recommend a day pass for unfolding the excitement. One time visit is not enough to explore all rides and splash works, you need some time or visits to explore every layer of Canada's wonderland
  • A variety of facilities on-site, such as washroom, drinking water refill, change rooms, restrooms, first aid facility, lost and found, lost children facility and support as needed

  • This is my journey with Canada's wonderland. Find some time to explore this recreational and fun theme park is the suggestion of the day
