Lungs

Today I am grateful for and appreciate the significance of the pair of lungs in our body. Lungs are the vital organ and life or survival is dependant on the lungs. Lungs are a part of the respiratory system and facilitate the breathing process. I recognize and appreciate its significance for a variety of reasons, for instance:

  • Lungs are linked with the respiratory system. If you are breathing well and healthy, be thankful and appreciate that your lungs are functional and operational. Lungs are a blessing
  • There are many people around the globe, struggling with breathing such as asthma, allergies, COVID or a variety of diseases that affect this breathing process
  • Lungs are formed in a way to accept or inhale oxygen from the breath and exhale CO2 and gases for keeping every cell in the body alive and functional. The life of every cell is dependent on the oxygen
  • There are a variety of relaxation exercises that focus on the breathing process. In an intense emotional and fearful situation, a breathing process affects the most. Mental health practitioners, in yoga or meditation, they do primarily focus on the breathing process then proceed further
  • Believe me, healthy lungs and breathing are a tremendous blessing from the creator and I am thankful for being blessed. If we count blessings daily, it may tune our minds to focus on the positive side of everything instead of complaining. Count your blessings is the thought of the day
