Remembrance Day - Canada

Today I acknowledge the significance of Remembrance Day in the history of Canadian society, however, originally it was called armistice day on November 11 at 11 am. November 11 is the day to pay respect, honour and acknowledge the veterans who battled/fought and died for the country. Remembrance day is symbolized with the poppy flower. The poppy was the only plant that grew on the battlefield at that time. The poppy represents the infinite and countless sacrifices of the veterans who died in world war one and later fight or conflict. I acknowledge and appreciate the sacrifices of the Canadian veterans and am proud of them
