Today I am grateful for and appreciate the significance of today's Facebook live session titled "Depression" on Malton Bazm-E-Khawateen page. This session was hosted and coordinated by Gulnaz Rehan and facilitated by Arshi Ali (Registered Psychotherapist Qualifying). I recognize and comprehend the importance of today's session for a variety of reasons, for instance:
- Malton Bazm-E-Khawateen is exclusively focusing on women and their wellbeing in a variety of ways. This is a great platform for spreading awareness regarding wellness, wellbeing and mental health
- Gulnaz Rehan has been coordinating and hosting these sessions very well. She prepares flyers, focuses on marketing, coordinating with questions, tagging and hosting. I genuinely appreciate her tireless efforts
- Today's session was part two of the last session about depression. Today's session focused on the following subjects:
- Causes of depression
- Prevention of depression such as avoiding drugs and alcohol, sleep, drugs and proper nutrition
