Today is Monday and I am grateful for this day. Monday is the commencement of the weekdays. After the weekend or end of the weekend, people try to prepare for Monday. Everyone has a distinct meaning and sense of Monday, however, it depends on the age, gender, profession, socioeconomic status and culture. I appreciate and recognize its significance for a variety of reasons, for instance:
- Monday commences right after Sunday. It is the first day of school, college, university and work after enjoying a weekend. Most of the time, it is hard for people to get up on Monday morning as their routines get disturbed throughout the weekend
- Homemakers/mothers get relieved on Monday as everyone is on the job and they get some relaxing, comforting and calming moments for themselves. When everyone is relaxing on weekends, homemakers are juggling and shuffling with a variety of tasks at the same time
- Student life starts on Monday morning. Some students wake up tired due to the late-night sleep and they don't focus and even don't like Monday
- Muslims have a distinct meaning for Monday. They usually fast on Monday
- There is a Monday.com cloud-based platform to empower corporations and businesses to create their own software, programs and applications
- Here in Canada, sometimes a long weekend appears with Monday included and always pleasurable for citizens

And God forbid if Monday goes terrible or dull, the entire week does work well for me atleast.
