Orange - Keeno


Today I am grateful for this incredible fruit and its significance that's orange or keeno. Orange is an orange colour fruit, its skin and pulp. Most of the fruits or produces are distinct colours inside and outside, for instance, watermelon, melon, banana, kiwi or apple. In Canada, I found oranges in a variety of names and shapes all year round even in June or July. I appreciate and recognize its value for a variety of reasons, for instance:

  • Orange is filled, packed and loaded with minerals, antioxidants and vitamin C. It is remarkably beneficial for health and wellbeing
  • Orange positively affects energy, strength and vitality. It is a natural source to consume vitamins and minerals. It is eaten raw, freshly squeezed juice, cooked, baked, roast and steam. It depends on the culture and region you belong to. It is popular and consumed regardless of age, gender and socioeconomic status
  • Oranges are available and eaten in Pakistan throughout the winter while resting and enjoying the sun. It is eaten with chat masala, salt and black pepper. It has a sweet and savoury taste and a strong punch or kicks to the palate
  • While eating oranges, it positively affects emotions, feelings and mood. People experience joy, pleasure and happiness. If it is eaten in a group of people, it connects them
  • Orange packet juice is not equivalent to a real orange. Packet juice is full of artificial flavours, artificial colours and a load of sugar. It is not good for health. If you eat an orange, you may have all benefits 
  • Nowadays, commercial and beauty products are available in the market related to oranges, for instance, shampoo, conditioners, creams, balms, body lotions, soaps, night creams, lip balm, body sprays and hand wash
  • A variety of commercial edible products are available in the market with an artificial orange taste. You may discover orange cookies, bites, biscuits, juices, toffee, lollypops, orange chunks, cereals, marmalade, jam, jelly and spread
  • Nowadays, sun-dried oranges, tin packed with syrups and frozen oranges are available in the market
  • Orange peel is also beneficial and used for a variety of purposes, for instance, a facial mask is prepared with peel, peel use an air freshener, Ubtan is prepared with the peel, cakes, custard and peel used in zarda as it is glazed with the sugar
  • People use to dye clothes with the peel of an orange in history. Peel is dried and then used in cushions or pillows for a nice and refreshing smell
  • Orange shape necklaces, rings and earrings are commercially produced and worn by young girls
