Webinar-EHN Canada

Today I am grateful to EHN Canada for organizing a virtual workplace mental health and addiction summit. I acknowledge and appreciate the significance of this summit for a variety of reasons, for instance:

  • This session was safe, secure and protected via virtual mode at this time of the COIVD 19 pandemic, while staying at home
  • Over the zoom, it was highly advantageous, beneficial and worthwhile to the professional. No need to drive, no need to formally dress up or travel via TTC, merely need to monitor internet connectivity
  • This session was an excellent platform and a floor to learn from experts that further help in growth and advancement in the mental health field for many professionalisms
  • This session was cost-effective, free of charge and a great help to the professional at this time of the COVID 19 pandemic
  • There were three sessions and one panel discussion for the audiences. Sessions were following:
    • Session A: Addressing Stigma and Discrimination, facilitated by Kathy Adetuyi, BSW, RSW, Trauma Counsellor & Manager of Outpatient Programs, EHN Canada
    • Session B: Finding the Right Treatment for Each Individual, facilitated by Lisa Stockton. she is a Referral Relations Manager, Edgewood Treatment Centre
    •  Session C: The Key to Successful Return-to-Work, offered by Darrin Taylor, MTC, CCAC, CIP, National Director of Business Development, EHN Canada
