Today I am grateful for attending a webinar on the topic "Considerations in Effective Policy Development for Addiction and Mental Health in the Workplace" facilitated by Darrin Taylor MTC CCAC CIP, National Director of Business Development, EHN Canada. Darrin is a Board Certified Interventionist, a Master Therapeutic Counsellor, a Canadian Certified Addiction Counsellor and a graduate of Queen's University. Today I appreciate this webinar for many reasons, for instance:

- Today's webinar showed the flip side of reality, for instance, such obvious figures are a rarity or arduous to recognize, taken messages were:

- Return to work planning
- The importance of aftercare
- Compliance monitoring
- Wise and sensible outlining and consistent support is required to generate a culture that supports and promotes workplace wellbeing, self-disclosure, and a decrease of the stigma encompassing mental illness and addiction
- Entrepreneurs and employers who are victorious and flourishing are those who are proactive, informed, aware and knowledgeable
- This session had equipped individuals and associations with functional and practical information on thorough policy and system development
- Webinar facilitated the significance of connecting to high-quality therapy/healing or healing and the meaning of return-to-work outlining and monitoring in a considerate tone
