Salt



Today I am grateful for and appreciate the significance of salt in our life and cuisines. Salt is the most essential and necessary ingredient and seasoning of every meal except sweet courses. There are several varieties of salt in practice, for instance, regular salt, Himalayan salt, black salt and pink salt. Salt not only a bit of meals preparation but additionally serve multiple purposes,  for instance:

  • Salt is part of the majority of cuisines around the world, the perfect measure of salt is the guarantee of taste in food and less or exceeded salt can ruin the taste
  • From breakfast, for the omelet, boil eggs, halwa pori and pancakes till dinner in the Chinese, Pakistani, Italian or afghani cuisines, salt is the basic ingredient with other seasonings
  • For sour throat, warm salted water is being used for gargle to relieve inflammation and soothe the throat
  • Black salt is used in chat masala, lemonade and fruit chat for heightening taste. Personally, I used black salt in Tang as a taste enhancer
  • Black salt is likewise used for improving digestion and controlling nausea or vomiting 
  • Soak your feet in warm salted water for reliving fatigued and exhaustion
  • People with high blood pressure and heart diseases are cautious while using salt in their meals
  • You may find some restaurants in the name of salt, for instance, salt n pepper
  • Some souls in our life same as salt, without them life is tasteless, for instance, family, friends, cousins and colleagues
