Friday 

Today I am grateful for this outstanding day, Friday. I appreciate and acknowledge the significance of this day in our life. Around the world, this day itself unconditionally matters for the Muslim community for various reasons. For me, Friday is the most informal and fortunate day, just to wrap up weekdays and planning to welcome the weekend.  In other words, Friday is the most occupied day for me, with a variety of businesses that needed to be done and preparing for the weekend. Cookery, laundry, cleaning, sometimes grocery and professional activities. I am appreciating Friday for many reasons, for instance:

• Friday tuned in our mind with the wrapping weekdays and welcome to the weekend

• People principally prepare ahead of a variety of activities for Friday but it depends on your culture, religion and values, for instance, for the Muslim community it is a significant day with a variety of rituals 

• Some countries have a holiday on this day and their weekend start with Thursday, for instance, Saudia Arabia

• At this time of the COVID 19 pandemic, while following a two-meter social distancing, many activities are prohibited, otherwise, this is the day for an outing, inviting and celebrations

• If Friday is with the long weekend, usually people get ready for camping, travelling, and special celebrations

• In some families, Friday is the movie night or the family night 

• Most of the time, special cooking is done for the rest of the weekend and culturally relevant food is habitually preferred

• If both partners are working, Friday is the dining out day for them

• Children usually go to their grandparent's house for spending their weekend
