Winter life

Today I am grateful for and appreciate the importance of winter life here in Canada. Winter is now jumped in and everywhere is snow with cold breezes or windy. Winter life is distinct from summer life. Winter commences from the start of November with a cold breeze then continues with the snow. I recognize and appreciate its very own significance for a variety of reasons, for instance:

  • Canada is blessed with snow vibes and everyone enjoys the first snowflakes. Although life and its quality change with the snow whereas Canadians enter a new phase of the seasons. Lifestyles switch with the clothing, snow jacket, mittens, snow boots, hat and muffler
  • Their quality of meals changes with the season such as they do focus on consuming nuts, soups, coffee, hot meals and a lot more. Wardrobe now with the warm attire, sleeping dress, comforter and even curtains change due to the cold wind
  • We do focus on indoor activities, games, getting together and spending more time with the family. Every single layer of life changes or transitions with a variety of meaningful activities. Personally, I do focus on baking, indoor games, personal development, reconnecting with the extended families
  • I was born and raised in Pakistan and the community is very well known for its winter traditions and values. My family is more focused on the quality of the food and traditionally consumed a variety of meals such as soups, yakhni, paya, bajre ki roti, gajar ka halwa, nihari, fish, BBQ, fried items and a lot more. There is no heating system in Pakistan so people do focus on wearing warm clothing all time such as socks, caps, shawls, sweaters, linen and jacket. Blankets and razai are now in
  • This is my journey with the winter, What is your favourite part of the winter? is the question of the day
