Today I am grateful for and appreciate the importance of mandala art or colour therapy. Mandala art is nowadays very common as an art therapy tool for children, adults and seniors. Personally, I do it in my free time to soothes my own emotions and thoughts. I recognize and comprehend its significance for a variety of reasons, such as:
- Mandala designs and booklet are promptly and surely available, even you may find at dollarama, dollar tree, amazon or google the designs. It appears with a variety of printed designs and patterns. It is surprisingly easy to start colouring the patterns
- Mandala art or colour therapy is a relaxing, soothing and calming activity. It positively impacts emotions and feelings. While colouring I sensed and noticed the sense of satisfaction and fulfillment
- Mandala art promotes eye and hand coordination as you have to look at the patterns and colour by holding a marker/pencil in your fingers. It further heightens and strengthens the fine motor skills and later in life these skills support to achieve a lot in life
- Mandala art is a way to express your emotions while playing with the colours, patterns and a variety of related perspectives. While colouring, it promotes peace of mind and comforts the mind and body
- A variety of situations and gatherings offers mandala art competitions, art and craft such as festivals, wellness sessions, fun gallas, funfair and art classes. This is my journey with mandala art, find something that soothes your emotions and bring harmony to the mind and body is the thought of the day
