Today, I am grateful for and appreciate Malton Bazm-E-Khawateen's invitation to celebrate Eid and independence day at Paul Coffey Park in the afternoon. I was there with my two younger children dressed up in green and white outfits. It was a phenomenal initiative and enterprise by Malton Bazm-E-Khawateen. I am really grateful for being part of this floor. I comprehend and recognize its significance for a variety of reasons, for instance:
- Malton Bazm-E-Khawateen is a marvellous platform to connect and unite gentlewomen/ladies/noblewomen in a variety of meanings. Although it serves Malton women though their hearts and souls are open and welcoming to all women regardless of their culture, socioeconomic status, region or faith
- I was amazed and honoured by their hospitality and generosity. It was well planned and well managed although it was arranged on short notice. Pakistan Independence day was being observed and celebrated with its etiquette, protocols and rituals, such as green and white balloons decor and Pakistani flag representing the theme very well, patriotic national songs, the national anthem sung by the youngest girl in the ceremony and the most significant aspect was the dress code related to the theme that's green and white
- A variety of games were played by children, girls and women. While performing, everyone was excited, thrilled and delighted to win the first position. Tough competition for some. Prizes were distributed to the champions
- Enthusiasm, energy and passion for Pakistan were considerably evident and manifested by the excitement while singing songs. Some pieces of the ceremony and celebration were live telecasted on Bazm-E-Khateen Facebook
- The food boxes (broast+french fries) were served with a cold drink. Pizza, cake and freezy were available as per need. Food was delicious, aromatic and had a strong kick to the taste buds. It was enough supplies
- I discovered and noticed the strong ties and bonds among gathering. There was a giggle n chuckle, happiness, joy and pleasure. Bazm-E-Khawateen enjoying every moment spent there
- Caring and sharing attitude was obvious. I personally enjoyed and be present with the moment. Indeed, this celebration was connecting to the well-being of women. I do encourage and promote these celebrations as it is positively affecting mental health and behaviour
- I do offer every Tuesday live session at Malton Bazm-E-Khawateen Facebook for addressing mental health concerns and wellness. These sessions were recognized and appreciated by the Malton Bazm-E-Khawateen and I am blessed with their blessings and a gift (Kurti). It was a sense of respect and honour for me, I appreciate that by my heart and soul
- Everyone was in positive and healthy emotions and mood. Great feelings for being Pakistani and proud to be Canadian. Although it was a bit warm and sweaty but the gathering was soothing, calming and relaxing in nature. Since pandemic, it was my first gathering and I discovered the balance and harmony to my mind, body and soul
- This is my journey with the Malton Bazm-E-Khawateen and I appreciate being part of this platform. First time in person I met these lovely and gorgeous women. I am surprisingly blessed with their courtesy and kindness
