Today I am grateful for attending Malton Women Council's Mentorship connections for success: Skill-building workshop series titled "Violence Against Women". Today's workshop was hosted and coordinated by Uzma Irfan and facilitated by Asma Khan (project coordinator at Malton Women Council). I appreciate and acknowledge the violence against women workshop for a variety of reasons, for instance:

- Today's session was over the zoom, highly convenient and comfortable to join at this time of the COVID 19. No need to travel or drive, no need to formally dress up, just need to monitor internet connectivity for the flow of the session
- Since the pandemic, while social and professional activities are banned, I recognize Malton Women Council's untiring efforts to focus on the ongoing support and care
- Today's session was free of cost, highly cost-effective and a huge financial relief to the attendees. If I opted for the same training from any institute or school, I had to pay a fee
