Today I am grateful for having healthy and strong teeth and that's a genuine blessing. Everyone is blessed with 32 teeth and it is the most significant part of oral fitness and wellbeing. Today I appreciate and recognize its significance for a variety of reasons, for instance:
- Children have only 20 primary, elementary, temporary or milk teeth and they lose them between the age of 6 to 12 and replaced by permanent teeth till age 21
- Permanent teeth have distinct variations and titles, for instance, wisdom teeth, upper or lower teeth. Every tooth has a distinct name and function and this blog is about the blessings of teeth and their functionality
- Teeth are a meaningful and notable element of oral health. There are a variety of functions depend on the teeth and their health, for instance:
- A smile depends on the teeth and their quality. If you have yellow or brown teeth or wearing braces, it may affect your smile and self-confidence. The best approach is that whatever colour or quality of teeth you have, just accept it and be happy with that
- Teeth support to grind food and make it digestible. While grinding, jaw muscles are exercised and promote blood flow. The more you grind, the more saliva produce
- While grinding food, you may experience the flavour, taste and zest of food. The food is more appetizing and delicious
- Teeth are not only grinding food but they also support biting an apple, banana, pear or every other fruit, vegetable and food
- I noticed and discovered that some people use their teeth breaking thread while sewing something, break walnuts, pistachio shells and eating paya or beef/mutton bones
- Proper brushing before sleeping, after food/sweet, flossing and regular dental check ups prevents a variety of dental problems. Prevention is better than cure
- Teeth ache and discomfort let us remind the importance of teeth, even a person can't take a proper sleep it having a toothache. Be careful and follow proper oral hygiene. Don't forget to teach your children
