Summer vacations and mental health: You and your child

Today I am grateful for joining a session titled "Summer vacations and mental health: You and your child" offered by the Canadian Mental Health Association - Hamilton (CMHA) and facilitated by Mikaela Ivanco. I acknowledge and appreciate the significance of today's session for a variety of reasons, for instance:

  • Today's session was the requirement of the summer vacation as it is already been sprung. This session was magnificent support for the parents to approach the mental health and well being of their children
  • Canadian Mental Health Association offered this session free of cost, it is a huge financial relief to the professionals and parents at this time of the COVID 19
  • The session was over the zoom, highly convenient and comfortable to join while social distancing is being practiced to stop the spread of novel coronavirus. There was no need to formally dress up, drive or take TTC, you just need to check internet connectivity for the flow of the session
  • Today's webinar helped to broaden the concept and understanding regarding mental health and wellbeing at this time of the summer vacation
  • The taken insight and words are:
    • Stress overload warning sign (physical, emotional and cognitive)
