Today I am grateful for and appreciate the significance of the series of sessions titled "Together EngAge for Wellness" offered by Bathurst Finch Seniors Society every Thursday since May 13, 2021. Today I attended its last session and I am truly thankful for this incredible journey of wellness with Bathurst Finch Seniors Society. These sessions positively influenced my emotional, psychological and behavioral well-being. I recognize and comprehend its value for a variety of reasons, for instance:
- The sessions facilitated and offered via zoom, highly convenient and comfortable to join at this time of the COVID 19, while social and professional gatherings are banned. No need to drive or take TTC, no need to formally dress up, just need to monitor WiFi connectivity for the flow of the sessions
- These sessions were free of charge, profoundly cost-effective for the audience, or in other words a huge financial relief for attendees
- EngAge for wellness sessions were loads of up to date information and knowledge regarding wellness, wellbeing and mental health
- The taken words and insight from every session is:
- First session: Let’s get physical! The importance of physical activity for wellness facilitated by Dr. Alexandra J. Fiocco, Ryerson University
