Algonquin Provincial Park

Today I am grateful for enjoying my visit to the Algonquin Provincial Park with my family. Algonquin provincial park is in southern Ontario, Canada. This park covered an area of 7,653 square km of forest, bogs, lakes and rivers. It was established in 1893. Algonquin Provincial Park is 269 km from Toronto. I appreciate and recognize its significance for a variety of reasons, for instance:

  • The gist of Algonquin Provincial Park in its spacious and detailed interior of maple hills, rocky elevations and lakes/rivers
  • Algonquin Provincial Park offers a variety of facilities and recreational activities, for instance:
    • Canoe
    • Boating
    • Kayaking
    • Hunting
    • Swimming
    • Camping facilities
    • Backpacking trails
    • Hiking and biking trails (rental bikes available)
    • Fishing opportunities including trout fish
    • Astonishing birding opportunities, more than 260 species were recorded
    • Amazing photography opportunity with a scenic view
    • Natural wildlife with goose, bears, deer and other wild animals
    • Discovery programs
    • Conducted walks
    • Guided tours
    • Beaches and lush picnic and BBQ areas
  • Facilities on-site, for instance, comfort stations, picnic ground, shower facilities, laundromat, toilets, park stores, picnic benches and shelters, pet exercise area, rentals, visitor or welcome centre
  • We visited an art centre, two rivers, whitefish lake, trout lake, tea lake and poge lake
  • This is my journey with Algonquin Provincial Park. It was my day visit, however, I would recommend staying 2 to 4 days to explore its beauty and scenic view
