Today I am thankful for and appreciate the significance of the Ramadan Journal for addressing the essence and precise meaning of Ramadan while finishing tasks on daily basis. This Ramadan Journal is designed by Afsheen, Iman and Amal for children of ages 5-16 years old. My children 11 and 13 have been executing since the first day of Ramadan. I am grateful to Afsheen and her daughters for this awe-inspiring journal for children for promoting the true fragrance of Ramadan. I recognize its value for various reasons, for instance:
- This journal is outlined in a way to learn, memorize, read, write, draw and thought every day. The child has to be mindful of completing the everyday task
- Every day starts with the question of the day, to think or search a topic about Iman and reflect on it. It is a beneficial exercise for children to interpret concepts and philosophy of Ramadan
- Child than colour only three names of Allah, learn and memorize. At the end of Ramadan 99 names of Allah will be part of the child. It is incredible
- The "Create an assortment" part is extremely impressive for reminding a child to think deeply and unfold the perspectives related to Ramadan
- The "Deed of the Day" caption is thought-provoking and advances a child to be mindful of the deed of the day. Every day a child strives to produce the best deed of the day, that's what I noticed in my case
- The "Thought of the day" is an excellent way for reviewing a day, unfolding the essence of Ramadan and reflecting. They are now mindful of Ramadan and ask questions
- Prayer tracker and Quran tracker are the best ways to pursue salah on time and read Quran. It reminds them of the significance of prayers and Quran throughout the Ramadan. It proffers them a sense of achievements daily
- The "Daily Checklist" evokes them to perform certain tasks as a spirit of Ramadan
- There are some art and crafts activities of Ramadan. This is an impressive way to teach a child the true spirit of Ramadan and Islam. It is an informal and fun-loving idea for children to engage at the same time
- There are many reminders, thoughts, insights and reflections about the genuine spirit of Ramadan
- That's my journey of explaining and developing the true essence of Ramadan to my children via this Ramadan journal, discover yours is the advice of the day
