Strategies and approaches to improve mood: Part # 2

 

Today I am grateful for and appreciate the significance of the Facebook live session at Malton Bazm-E-Khawateen page titled "What is a mood? Strategies and approaches to improve mood". Today was part two of the same session with more strategies and approaches. Today's session was hosted by Gulnaz Rehan, coordinated by Aasia Khatoon and facilitated by Arshi Ali (Registered Psychotherapist Qualifying). I recognize and comprehend the importance of a session for a variety of reasons, for instance:

  • Malton Bazm-E-Khawateen supports the community to overcome mental health issues and concerns. Mental health awareness is heightened and strengthened among people after watching sessions. The taken insight and notion from today's session is:
    • Do a puzzle
    • Enjoy some coffee
    • Seek sunshine
    • Smile
    • Try Shinrine Yoku (Forest bathing)
    • Smell lavender
    • Enjoy the smell of fresh-cut grass
    • Enjoy the smell of citrus
    • Chew Gum
    • Admire flowers
    • Eat some chocolate
    • Visualize your best self
    • See green
    • Touch something soft 
    • Do something nice for someone else
    • Listen to bird songs
    • Do some yoga
    • Engage in cultural activities
    • Eat Vitamine C
    • Mediterranean diet
    • Talk to a stranger
    • Listen to a sad song
    • Set small attainable goals
    • Take a break from Facebook
    • Indulge in massage
    • Practice good posture
    • Play in the dirt
  • This is all about today's session. Try to incorporate some approaches and strategies for uplifting your mood and wellbeing is the suggestion of the day
