Today I am thankful for and comprehend the significance of the coursework/module titled "Supporting the mental health of older adults in care" is completed. This curriculum was developed by Provincial System Support Program (PSSP) at CAMH and it is supported by funding from the ministry of health. I am grateful for this wonderful opportunity. I recognize and grasp its meaning for a variety of reasons, for instance:
- This curriculum was online and comfortable to join. No need to travel or take the subway. This mode certainly helps to control the spread of novel coronavirus. I upgraded my professional journey while maintaining social distance
- The module was highly engaging and appealing with a variety of activities, such as quizzes, case scenarios, assessments, reflection, text, definitions and tool kits for a variety of doctrines and it was with a download facility
- Supporting the mental health of older adults in the care module helps to understand and explore the further lawyers on the given subject. The taken insight and notion from the module is:
- The difference between mental health and mental illness
- Dementia, depression, anxiety and substance use problems and concerns
- Immigration connection and cultural perspective were utilized to assess the philosophy
- This is my professional journey with the CAMH, find a course/training/module or webinar that suits your professional, social and personal needs is the thought of the day
