Today I am grateful for facilitating a session titled "Power of Positive Affirmations and its impact on wellbeing" live on Facebook at Malton Bazm-E-Khawateen page. Today's session was hosted by Gulnaz Rehan and coordinated by Asia Khatoon. I appreciate and recognize the significance of today's session for a variety of reasons, for example:
- These sessions are a huge investment to the community, people watch, listen and sometimes try some strategies. This way slowly and gradually community or society transformed in a positive and healthy way
- I am personally grateful to Malton Bazm-E-Khawateen for this incredible opportunity to spread awareness of mental health problems and issues. These sessions will also help to remove the stigma attached with the mental health
- Every session is over Facebook, comfortable to join even from Pakistan, India Canada or America, no need to travel or drive. No need to formally dress up, just need to login
- Special thanks to Gulnaz Rehan, for her untiring and continuous efforts for creating appealing flyers, coordination and at the end of the session read all messages from the audience
- The taken insight and words from today's session are:
- What is affirmation/self-talk?
- What time do positive affirmations have to practice?
- How many times do positive affirmations have to repeat?
- How do positive affirmations affect thoughts, feelings, emotions, self-esteem, confidence, achievements and productivity in life?
- Two videos were shared on how to practice positive self-affirmations before sleeping and in the morning
- Positive self-affirmations for confidence
- Positive affirmations for self-esteem
- Positive affirmations for anxiety
- This is my journey with Malton Bazm-E-Khawateen for spreading the word. Find a platform to showcase or tailor your skills, abilities or expertise is the thought of the day
