St. Michael’s Hospital Foundation

Today I am grateful for St. Michael’s Hospital Foundation to offer a session in celebration of International Women’s Day, Powerhouse speaker event, women and leadership. I appreciate and acknowledge hearing from five of St. Michael’s topmost female leaders, who shared inspirational and exciting stories about their journey in medicine, and their viewpoints and beliefs on how women are becoming and developing the care practice. I am thankful for this session for many reasons, for instance: 

• This session was over the virtual mode, cost-effective, convenient, time saving and just needed to check the connectivity and comfortably connect with the session

• Today's session was inspirational in the context of learning and understanding their perspective 

• At this time of the COVID 19 pandemic, I appreciate and am inspired by their role as a leader, job well done

• Gender and equality was discussed by Patricia, well represented

• Antioppression lens was used to explain leadership role 

• Today's session helped broaden my vision, insight and thoughts

• Follow your passion was a taken message from this session

• Find a webinar or seminar to strengthen and establish your perception and understanding is the advice of the day
