Webinar-The link between trauma and substance use
Today I am grateful for attending a webinar "The link between trauma and substance use" facilitated by Rayan Solobodian, a registered clinical counsellor at Edgewood treatment centre. I acknowledge and appreciate EHN Canada's efforts for creating awareness. EHN Canada has supported professionals for further growth and advancement in their professional development at this time of the COVID 19 pandemic. I recognize this series for multiple reasons, for instance:
- Today's webinar was over the zoom, convenient to participate, no need to travel or drive, simply monitor internet connectivity
- At this time of the COVID 19 pandemic, while social gatherings are outlawed and social distancing order is imposed, these sessions are blessing over the virtual tone
- Q and A facility provided further clarity on the given topic
- The link between trauma and substance use webinar addressed the following evidence:
- What is trauma? and Rayan also unfolded various perspectives related to the trauma including in the context of interpersonal or attachment concerns
- Where does trauma come from, revealed notions linking prospects, more specifically the way Rayan exemplifying the notions, helped us to understand the core knowledge
- Trauma presentation and its models for explaining components that are interconnected
- Evaluating and interpreting that how trauma performs a role in the addiction cycle. Rayan linked a variety of behaviours with the trauma and shared the depth of knowledge
